Prompt Bistro logo at the Le Meridien hotel in Hong Kong

A favourite French bistro.

A neighbourhood bistro built for speed without sacrificing charm. The brief called for a name and identity that could keep pace with a fast-casual model — fresh food, quickly — whether guests were staying to eat or grabbing something on the way out.

The menus were designed to look like clipboards, making it easy to swap in daily specials and the latest catch. Every piece of the visual identity, from typography to colour, was tuned to feel vibrant, welcoming, and modern — the kind of place that becomes a local favourite fast.

Branding at every touchpoint.

Takeout packaging became a key revenue driver, connecting Prompt with the surrounding office crowd from morning coffee and croissants to lunchtime baguettes and late-night pizza.

Sustainable packaging extended the brand beyond the restaurant, while mosaic signage in its distinctive colours created a vibrant focal point at the circular entrance—bringing the identity seamlessly into the space.
